PreNote is designed with a privacy-first approach. Your notes are stored on your device and remain under your control.
PreNote itself does not collect, store, or transmit personal user data. All notes are stored locally on your device.
Notes may be encrypted locally on the device using industry-standard encryption. All encrypted content remains on the device and is never transmitted to any server.
PreNote allows users to manually share encrypted content using the device’s built-in sharing features (for example, messaging or email apps). This action is initiated entirely by the user. PreNote does not automatically transmit, intercept, or store shared content.
PreNote may display ads provided by third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob. These services may collect limited device information (for example, advertising ID) to deliver and measure ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Users may remove ads through a one-time in-app purchase.
PreNote uses Google Play Billing for in-app purchases. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play, and PreNote does not receive or store payment information.
PreNote may access the internet only for ad delivery and purchase verification through Google Play services.
PreNote is not designed for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
